Happy New Year

We would like to wish all those in the Elgg community a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year.

Although this blog has been a little quiet lately, plenty has been going on with the Elgg project. Last month v1.2 was released containing a host of performance improvements, if you haven't upgraded already we recommend you do, you will notice a difference.

We are seeing some cool new Elgg powered sites emerge, here are a couple of examples:

1) Budokin, a global community of martial artists.
2) SNCF, the French national railway, is using Elgg for a TGV site.

The Elgg project site has been enhanced to make it easier for those interested in Elgg to find information and contribute to the community.
